ABSTRACT

I will talk about electronic properties of carbon nanotubes and DNA-based metal wires.

  1. We study electronic conductivity of nanotubes at low temperatures in the Coulomb blockade regime.
  2. We create highly conductive metal wires based on DNA templates.
We also use self- assembled DNA arrays as scaffold for positioning of inorganic nanocrystals and proteins.
