PLACE: George P. Williams, Jr. Lecture Hall, (Olin 101)
Physics faculty members will present short overviews of their various research programs. This will provide an opportunity for new students to learn about interesting research ideas, for continuing students to learn about what their professor think about their research, and for faculty to learn about what their colleagues are doing. In the past we have divided these presentations into experimental and theoretical/calculational sessions. This year, we will divide the presentations into a session for the newest faculty members (part II -- Sept. 11) and a session for the more senior faculty (part I -- Sept. 4).
