On Tuesday, June 30, 2009, the Department of Physics held a reception in honor of Jason Grigsby, who successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis entitled: "Analyzing and Improving Initial Data for Binary Black Holes". Dr Grigsby's thesis advisor was Prof. Greg Cook.
