The Z. Smith Reynolds Library supports the research and instruction needs of over 4,800 undergraduates and 2,600 graduate and professional students in the School of Business, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Divinity.
Beyond providing research help, the library also hosts many student events, including Wake the Library midnight exam breaks (story), Humans vs. Zombies (story | photos) and Capture the Flag contests, and a variety of film screenings and lectures. The Z. Smith Reynolds Library, which is open 24/5, also houses the Bridge for technology support, the Writing Center, and a full-service Starbucks.
The Commons is located on the second floor of Farrell Hall. It supports the School of Business.
The Professional Center Library serves the School of Law. The Library welcomes members of the legal and general communities.
The Coy C. Carpenter Library serves the School of Medicine and North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
