Department of Chemistry

Student Group. The department has offered the M.S. degree since 1961 and the Ph.D. since 1980. The Department has awarded 26 Ph.D.s and 12 MS degrees in the last 5 years.

Three recent Ph.D. graduates have won national postdoctoral fellowships, (National Institutes of Health, American Heart Association and Merck-UNCF Postdoctoral Fellowships).
