To assist in your familiarization with your lab, some pictures of the safety equipment are presented below.
Lab 102
Lab 102's safety equipment consists of student hoods at every station,
a large fume hood located in the rear of the room, single eye eyewashes
at each bench, and a safety shower in the center of the room. Please
also note both exits, the location of the two fire extinguishers and the
sodium bicarbonate for the treatment of acid burns. The
floor
plan is available.
Lab 102 is picture above left. Pictured on the right is one of the student workstations.
Each student's workstation is equipped with a hood and each bench is equipped with an eyewash beside the sink.
In case of emergency a safety shower is in the middle of the room (left) and Sodium bicarbonate, to treat acid burns, is located in the rear of the room (right).
