Simmons Collection |
| The
Simmons Collection consists of 94 works from the 19th century
and early 20th century. It was donated in 1941 by Dr. Thomas
Jackson Simmons, a Wake Forest Alumnus, with the one condition
that it become the foundation on which a still larger collection
might be based. It includes works by Bierstadt, Corot, and
Mulhaupt. |
