Final Project Description

The term project for this course will be a simple but functional 3D graphics engine. The final product does not have to be a full-blown 3D graphics engine but all the functions in your engine should be functional.

Term project proposal: You will need to turn in a term project proposal describing the 3D engine that you want to do for your term project. The proposal is due some time before the Spring Break.

At the end of the semester, you will need to:

  • turn in all the source codes of your 3D engine term project
  • give a class presentation of your project
  • turn in a write-up. The write-up should include:
    • a description of your 3D engine – what it does, how you implement it, how others can use it
    • several features that you would like to add, and a discussion of how you propose to implement these features
