Office Hours: W 2:00-3:00 or by appointment

Course Objectives:
The CSC 101 Lab aims to complement the CSC 101 lecture materials and provide students hands-on experience related to the lectures.

Evaluation:
Lab reports and lab files are due the Friday of the same week of the lab. Each day late will result in a 10% reduction in points. No points will be given to late reports or lab files that are turned in on or after the date of the next lab.

About the Labs:
I will usually give an 15-minute overview of the lab at the beginning of each lab period. In some of the labs, you may need to follow my instructions in class. You may not be able to finish the lab within the lab period. It's perfectly fine. Finish the lab any time after class and make sure to turn in the lab reports and the lab files, if there are any, by Friday.

Lab Reports and Manuals: The lab manual file for each lab is posted on this page. Download the file and print out the file before the lab. Bring the printout to the lab. The instruction file has lab related questions you need to complete. Turn in the printout as the lab report. Some labs may also require turning in files, by uploading them to a server. Instructions for upload files will be in the lab manual. The grade of each lab is based on your answers to the lab questions, and the completion of the lab files, if any.

Pre-Lab: Some labs require pre-lab readings or exercises. They are intended to help you get prepared for the lab by learning more about the subject and thus help you work more effectively on the lab. So, please complete the pre-lab assignment.
