My CV is here. The paintings on this page were done by my mother, Joyous Miller.

I am currently an assistant professor of philosophy at Wake Forest University. I completed my Ph.D. in philosophy in 2004 at the University of Notre Dame and my B.A. in philosophy in 1999 at Princeton University. While enrolled at Notre Dame, I spent the 2002-2003 academic year as a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan.

My work is primarily in contemporary meta-ethics, moral psychology, theory of action, normative theory, and philosophy of religion. I have become very interested in issues at the intersection of ethics and social psychology. Some of this research was recently featued in an interview in the online version of the Wake Forest Magazine which is available here.
