Brief BiographyPhDGraduation

Since 2001 and continuing through the academic year 2007-08, I am teaching in the History Department at Wake Forest University. My concentrations are European diplomatic and Russian histories, and I also teach the European history survey.

I earned my PhD in the History Department at Duke University in 2000, where I also earned a MA in 1993. In 1994 I earned a MSc from the London School of Economics though the Department of International History. I finished my BA at the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.

Other Activities at Wake Forest

Spring 2003, I served as the faculty advisor for a Wake Forest Service Trip called "Helping Hands" that was organized by then-Wake Forest junior, Mary Ellen Denton. We spent two weeks volunteering at an orphanage outside of Moscow, Russia. Please visit the old trip page for information on our project and how you can help with the next trip. A new group of students will go again this May.
